[  Uncharacteristically sweater-clad and barefooted, Cordelia
   carefully took a seat beside him. Perched on the edge of the
   ivory piano bench, only a sliver of space remained between
   the two of them as she silently ran a hand over the spotless  
   keys. There wasn’t even a speck of dust on them, even though
   no one ever used them– -

            though, maybe that’s exactly why they were still so pristine.  ]

                              “…Oh. Well, you sounded good to me– - really good,
                                actually… I think you should play it more. Nobody
                                in my family can really play well and the piano’s
                                just for show, so it’s a waste otherwise.”
