Cordelia recoiled in shock as a tiny fist collided with her side. Temper tantrums from the little redhead weren’t that uncommon, but no matter how much she yelled or cried, Willow had never hit her before; and even though it might not hurt her very much now, Willow wouldn’t always be so much smaller or weaker than Cordelia.

“Willow!" Grabbing Willow’s wrists before she could hit her again, she glowered down at the young girl. “Willow, listen to me. I know you’re mad, but no matter how angry you get, you can’t hit people.” she admonished. If Willow didn’t listen, Cordelia would be as harsh as she had to be; there was no way she was going to let this kid grow up thinking that hitting people was okay.
