“Okay, I’ll get us some water, then.”

Tara found the situation a little ironic as well, but refrained from commenting. Stepping back into the kitchen, she paused, not remembering which cupboard Cordelia had retrieved the glasses from. “Um… Dennis? Where d-do I find cups for water?” she asked shyly.

A cabinet to the left of the microwave opened as if blown by a concentrated wind, and two glasses sailed slowly through the air and hovered at shoulder level in front of Tara. “Th-thank you, Dennis,” she said, taking the cups and stepping to the sink to fill them. “I think y-you and I will get along.”

After taking a few minutes to gather herself together, Cordelia finally exited the bathroom. Her head was still pounding as per usual, but hopefully the aspirin would kick in within a few minutes. She slowly made her way back to the kitchen, and the weary Seer quickly seated herself at the kitchen table.

She smiled as she watched Tara and Dennis interact, glad that her resident ghost had taken a liking to their newest roommate. Voicing her thoughts only a mere moment later, Cordelia said, “I’m glad you two are getting along well.” Her voice was still much more tense than usual, but being able to sit down and relax thanks to Tara and Dennis was taking the edge off the post-vision aftermath.
