At Cordelia’s words, Glory turned to face her, an amused grin playing across her face. ”Kill you?” She laughed, “No sweetie, I’m not gonna kill you. I need you alive. For now anyways. However, if you try to run, I will break both of your legs.” She punctuated her threat with an extra sweet smile and turned back around, pushing open the doors to the apartment building and hurrying the brunette inside.
Oh. Great, because that was just such a better prospect. Glancing down worriedly at her legs– which were, thankfully, still very much intact– Cordelia allowed herself to be ushered through the door into Glory’s apartment. She even stayed silent, for the time being.
At first glance, it seemed relatively normal– even the interior decorating wasn’t too horrible– but Cordelia had the feeling that her impression of the place would be changing very soon.
