[ Fred takes the file and shrugs optimistically, glad to have something to occupy her hands. She hesitantly settles into another chair by the counter. Cordelia is real nice. Trying to relax, she grins and jokes awkwardly.]
“Does that make you the vision-getter-slash-secretary then?”
“Guess so. Though, I can’t say I’m very thrilled about the secretary part.”
[ Her face scrunches up at the prospect. Neither job is particularly glamorous– - mind-splitting visions and boring office work both have their own major cons– - and melding the two together sounds like an absolute nightmare to Cordelia. She just thanks her lucky stars that she isn’t officially a secretary– - god only knows what she’d do if that was the case.
Cordelia’s megawatt smile returns as soon as Fred joins her. She’s glad to see the woman, who had technically saved her life back in Pylea, doing something normal; anything other than scribbling formulas across her room’s walls with manic enthusiasm. Placing her own file folder to the side for now, she leans against the counter next to Fred. ]
“So, how are you? We haven’t really had the chance to talk since– - well– - you know.”
