Night Terrors || Closed RP

“A big one…” Willow said, suddenly fidgeting with subdued fear as the nightmare flashed before her eyes. Closing her eyes, she covered them with her eyes. “…wanted to hurt me…”

She still had trouble even remotely trying to describe the dream. There were a few flashes that stuck out inside her mind, and they terrified her even now, when she was safe in Cordelia’s arms. Shaking her head, she buried her head into the woman’s shoulder, sniffling a little. “…too scary…”

“Hey, it’s okay…” Wrapping her arms around the terrified girl, Cordelia pressed a reassuring kiss to the top of Willow’s head. Whatever Willow had dreamed of, it had obviously scared her beyond belief, and that worried Cordelia even further.

“You’re safe here, it can’t hurt you.” she murmured reassuringly, trying to soothe Willow’s anxiety. Cordelia never had to comfort a child before, but she held Willow close, hoping she would be able to calm her down.
