“Sure!” Willow said, smiling as she heard the excitement still lingering in Cordelia’s voice. Gesturing with her hand, the ball slowly moved towards the child’s heart, before it disappeared into her clothing. “There. It’s in your heart now. Anytime you feel something is all scarey, you’ve got the light inside you.”
At first, Cordelia was bemused by the light heading toward her chest. She didn’t totally understand what was going on until it hit her– quite literally. As the light disappeared, she felt an inexplicable warmth course through her entire body. Pressing her hands against her chest, she stared at Willow in awe. “That’s amazing… thank you, Willow!” she exclaimed, her smile growing into a thousand-watt beam.
