Grinning ear-to-ear, Willow’s hand shot out with the swiftness and precision of a cat on the prowl. Her fingers wrapping around the human’s wrist, she quickly slapped the stake out of Cordelia’s hand, chuckling as she heard the wooden object fall to the ground and roll into the darkness.
Pulling the woman to her, her wrist held against her back in a position that was undoubtedly uncomfortable, she chuckled deeply into Cordelia’s ear. “You know…I could have lots more fun with you…if you thought like me…walked like me…became like me…”
Giving the human’s neck a small nibble, she tilted her head in order to meet Cordy’s eyes. “…wanna be bad?”
Cordelia flinched as Willow grabbed her wrist. Her last defense against Willow was gone. She felt what little hope she’d had left draining away as quickly as the stake hit the ground, because unless someone like the White Hats happened to swoop by, she was at Willow’s mercy now.
Rather than answering her, Cordelia let out a small whimper of pain as Willow tugged her hand hard enough that she wouldn’t be surprised if her shoulder was dislocated. She struggled against Willow’s viselike grip, but it was in vain. Despite her advantage in height, the vampire’s strength made it nearly impossible for Cordelia to push her away.
In a final act of defiance, Cordelia turned her face away from Willow’s a screwed her eyes shut tight. If she was going down, she wasn’t going to give Willow the pleasure of watching her reaction while it happened.
