“Yes, Ms. Cordy this poor uninformed peasant needs yer help.” He grinned at her laugh.
“To quote her, ‘I would be so lucky if she was.’ which to be fair is true. I would be a very lucky guy but alas she’s just a friend.” He bit back a grin wondering if she would remember this conversation when she was back to her normal age.
“Oh.” Cordelia replied, resting her chin on Faelen’s shoulder. She seemed to be lost in thought for a moment before she asked, “Do you like her, then? Usually when people buy me things it means they like me.”
