Doyle looked down at his shirt. Lovely….it was stained. “Aye, lucky fer me. And I just need ta do one thing before I come over princess. But I’ll be there before ye get too bored. Plus ye could always look at the rooms.” He was about to go change but realized he needed to hang up. “Right. I’ll be there soon. Bye.” He waited a bit before hanging up the phone.
Great. Now he had to find a clean shirt. He quickly rummaged through his closet and found one. Solid color, good. Changing shirts he then slipped on his coat, grabbed his hat, locked the door and headed to the Hyperion.
“I don’t think the rooms would be any fun, either.” Cordelia countered. She grinned widely, despite the fact that Doyle obviously couldn’t see her expression. "See you soon.“ she murmured, placing the phone back in its receiver once she heard the dial tone.
Drumming her fingers against the desk with one hand and lifting up the rose again with the other, Cordelia straightened back up, getting ready to wait for Doyle to arrive.
