“Mommy?” Willow asked, nervously fidgiting in her sneakers as she looked up at Cordelia. “…I broke a glass…”
Logically, Cordelia knew Willow hadn’t meant to break anything. But really, how had this happened? Willow shouldn’t even be able to reach the glasses, and hadn’t she put Dennis on babysitting duty while she was working? She was going to have to have a talk with the resident ghost about this later.
Sighing, Cordelia knelt down next to Willow. "That’s okay, sweetheart, as long as you’re more careful next time.“ she said, too tired to reprimand her. She offered the child a tight-lipped smile. "Can you show me where it is so I can clean it up?”
