Tara nodded. She knew that Cordelia had called a few times… and spoken to Willow… but that wasn’t something Tara particularly wanted to think about.

She applied the disinfectant and then started pressing band-aids over the larger cuts. “Oh, o-of course, honey. You welcomed me in when I had n-nowhere to go. So,” she set the last of the needed bandages on her friend’s legs, “w-what did you see in your vision?”

Smiling slightly, Cordelia placed her notepad to the side. Once Tara was finished, she tucked her legs into her chest, resting her head against her knees.

“I saw a man in a warehouse,” she began. “He was cornered by some sort of demons– I’m not sure what kind, but they looked way too similar to spiders for comfort.” Cordelia grimaced at the memory. “And they– they stabbed him. A lot. He was terrified,” she added quietly, sitting up straight and subconsciously resting a hand on her stomach. “It shouldn’t happen for a few days, but the sooner Angel knows, the better chance we have of stopping it.”
